Resolve Error Code “80004005-501-4B9-560” While Synchronizing Outlook with the Exchange

Sometimes users may Encounter an Error “80004005-501-4B9-560” while Synchronizing the MS Outlook with the Exchange Server. Normally the Error is encountered when MS Outlook tries to Synchronizing the forms with the Exchange Server.

Symptoms of the Error “80004005-501-4B9-560”

Go to the \Sync Issue folder. Many entries related to the Sync issues will be in the folder as given below:

You can see the Error is Mentioned in the /Sync Issue Fodler. Here 4B9 states that the error was encountered due the null reference. This can be due to the Permission issues or may be it is due to the inaccessibility of the Public Folder Raplia by MS Outlook

Resolution of the Error mentioned above

#. Replication due to the several  Exchange Server

This problem normally occurs when you have set up the several Exchagne Server into the Environment. You can resolve the issue by eliminating the Replication of Exchange Server & by adding it to the Registry Folder.

To get rid of the error Remove the replica and Add it again into the Environment. Use the PowerShell Command as given below:

1). To know Which Public Folder Database is in the use, Run the Command into the Exchange Management Shell.

2). Now Execute Get-PublicFolder command with its attributes to locate the Replica.

3). Now remove the Replica. To remove it, Open Exchane Management Shell and Click on the Toolbox from the Console Tree >> Public Folder Management Console >> System Public Folder >> Eforms Registry Public Folder >> Organizational Forums Library

  • Now Select Folder and open its property from the Action Panel.
  • After that, use Replication Tab to set the replication plan & additionally determine on which database the content should be Replicated.
  • In the Replicate content to these public folder databases Choose a database from the available list. After that delete it from the list.

4). Now again add the replica then you have located. For that Click on Toolbox from the Console tree and repeat the 1st and 2nd step of the 3rd step and then from the replication tab select the database in which the Public Folder needs to be replicated.

  • Here now to open the dialog box of the Public folder click on the Add button and Specify which Public folder is replicated and on which database it is replicated.
  • Choose the Database and Click OK.
